I will never say enough nice things about Dr Salim and SuttonPDA. He is a unique cosmetic dentist! I travel about an hour to go see him and have been his patients for over 15 years. Recently I got a full smile makeover and he was always checking in, attentive. He was never skimpy on explanations, very meticulous and knowledgeable. The whole process was quite long, but that is only normal given the efforts he put it and results are great.

I have seen doctors and hygienists at Sutton Place Dental over the past 20 years and all have been consistently professional, skilled and caring. Dr. Salim who I had seen first for an urgent root canal and crown after an accidentally broken tooth, was the cause for me to lose my profound fear of seeing a dentist, because the whole treatment was so unexpectedly gentle, as opposed to my past experiences somewhere else. Dr. Modiri saw me at a follow up visit and I couldn't believe that he was just as thorough, caring and gentle as Dr. Salim. In recent years I started seeing Dr. Reshad for gum treatment and found an equal level of professionalism and care. My children both see Dr. Mina Elahi since they were very small. Dr. Elahi's has an outstanding ability to be extremely gentle and aware of how to make this experience as pain free, soothing and "fun", yet to be very thorough and clear in what needs to be done. My children never had any fear to go back and even looked forward to visits. In addition, the front desk staff is very accessible, kind and as much accommodating as possible. Also they are very clear about costs and insurance coverage ahead of treatment. An exceptional practice, would highly recommend.

I have been a patient of Dr Salim for 7 years and have had several procedures done, which all went very well, ranging from cavities to bonding and porcelain dental crowns. Recently he fixed my bite and did full top and bottom veneers on me. It really transformed my smile, and it looks so natural too. He is an unusual dentist, and you have his undivided attention when you are with him. He only works on one patient at a time, and you do not feel the slightest pressure to choose a treatment. His dental office is also unique, I believe it is the only place I have gone where they call you by your first name as soon as you put your foot through the door.

I became relaxed and confident after my first consultation with dr Salim and that lasted all the way to the end of my smile transformation. The whole experience was seamless: from the personnel welcoming and calling you by your name, to Dr Salim's attentive and caring (no pressure) attitude, all the way to the office manager's prompt and professional responses. I totally recommend Dr Salim. He is a perfectionist and also a caring cosmetic dentist. I have always suffered from small teeth and a gummy smile. But, over the years things got worse due to grinding. The abrasion of my front teeth made them look even shorter and I became very self-conscious about my smile. Dr Salim put me at ease from the very start and his patience throughout the whole process was unparalleled. He allowed me to check the wax mold from the lab and to tweak temporary veneers. We even decided to introduce some very slight imperfections to the final veneers, to make them look more natural. I really cannot rave enough about him and his staff. The emotional support was constant and he was always checking in on me, throughout the whole process. When I look at my new and natural smile and then think about how concerned and worried I was early on in the process, I can only laugh about it.

He made me feel very comfortable from the very first appointment. He listened to my concerns and was very generous with explanations. His caring but also no pressure approach swayed me to entrust him with my oral health. As for the results ... the words "smile transformation" hardly seem to cut it. So many people I have met told me I look 10 years younger. Lesa and the Sutton Place Dental team are also very efficient and welcoming. They always know my name.

I was looking online into cosmetic dentistry in order to receive bonding on some of my front teeth. One day I got referred by a friend to Dr Joseph Salim as one of the best cosmetic dentist around midtown NYC.Dr Salim talked me into doing 8 porcelain veneers on my upper teeth. Few months have passed and now I simply love my smile.Also I noticed that Dr Salim is a sleep apnea specialist as well therefore, I immediately informed my wife to see him as she suffered from constant grogginess. She went to see him and was diagnosed with sleep apnea. He is now treating her with oral appliance therapy. I feel that my wife is now completely energized during the day.Overall, we totally can recommend Dr Salim specially because he treats you like family!

My situation was not easy for I have little brittle teeth and I needed veneers on many teeth (as well as 2 crowns, an implant and a couple of cavities). Procedures on my mouth started early 2022 and they were long (pre-veneers, then veneers ...). This notwithstanding, Dr Salim and his team always reassured and put at ease, to the point that I was almost looking forward to these appointments for I was confident results were going to be really good. And really good they were or, rather, they are!! Thanks to my veneers, I now feel more at ease when smiling. I definitely recommend Dr Salim and his team.

I was worried that my veneers would have looked a bit artificial (too white, too perfect etc.) but the results are really natural. Dr Salim is a really good cosmetic dentist. I would definitely recommend him. The office staff is also really kind. They greet you by your name, appointments run on time and the office is very modern.

Dr. Salim is a very skillful cosmetic dentist. Before I went to see him my mouth was a mess. I had extensive issues requiring numerous veneers, further complicated by the need of 2 crowns and one porcelain bridge. Not only are the results great, but also Dr Salim has put me at ease throughout the multiple procedures I had. He also called me on my mobile to follow up and make sure all was okay. When you arrive at his office the whole team makes you feel like you are their most important customer. I can only recommend him.

Overall, I had a great experience! The staff was very friendly, and the dental hygienist was very communicative and managed expectations accordingly.
As for Dr. Salim, he seemed very knowledgeable. I was looking for a 2nd opinion since a previous dentist appeared to be recommending more work than was necessary & conveying a false sense of urgency. Dr. Salim was honest about which ones were necessary vs. which ones were optional or could wait. The practice has a handful of different specialties, so you can get most of your dental needs addressed without having to hop around different locations.
Can't comment on the cleaning, procedures, etc. since I haven't experienced any of those at this practice yet, but based on my first experience, I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

I am always anxious when I go to the dentist and am also a little suspicious about whether a dentist may do the best in my own interest. My wariness comes from several poor experiences. So, when I went to Dr Salim's dental office I decided to start with plain dental cleaning ... which went so well that I gradually began to trust this dental office more and more. Dr Salim, the owner, is an excellent cosmetic dentist. He is very patient, answers every question. Over time, initial desire to get dental cleaning became a dentistry wish-list of cavity fillings, teeth whitening, veneers. Dr Salim's approach is always the same: he explains things thoroughly and then lets you decide on your own... no pressure.

A shout out to Shar, the dental hygienist for the great cleaning. I keep on running my tongue over my teeth and can't stop thinking how smooth they feel.

Due to Shahr's great cleaning I almost hesitated to do teeth whitening with dr Salim, because she had done such a great job. But now, after my teeth whitening sessions, I am happy because I managed to get rid of some pesky stains.

My old dentist retired and closed his office. After reading some reviews I went to SuttonPDA. I was not disappointed for sure. Their office is super modern. I wanted to whiten my teeth but dr Salim (the cosmetic dentist) told me that I had two cavities and that I needed to fill them before doing any cosmetic dentistry. He was very patient and kind. I did not feel a thing, it was completely painless. The appointment was perfectly on time. Overall very positive experience.
